HP G6 Freezes when sound’s coming from it’s speakers, need help?

I bought this laptop a week ago, and installed Windows 7 and it works quite good. and now after 2 days after i installed all the drivers, when i play a song without any headphones the computer seems to freeze, not long ones but 2 second freezes, and meanwhile the song skips too.. i tried uninstalling and re-installing sound drivers(IDT) but it doesn't seems to do any good. what i notice is that this happens only when sound's played through it's own internal speakers(Altec Lansing).
I would really appreciate a help from anyone!
