I have a PC and a Laptop, Laptop has a wireless receiver built into it. My PC does not have a wireless card. How can I make such settings so that my laptop receives the WiFi signals and then transfers them to my computer via Ethernet cable so that i can use internet on my PC. Please help me!

This is possible fairly easy if you have windows XP or later,

Technically what you do is you turn your Laptop into a gateway for your desktop this has been done on many PCs for years on years it is how it was done "in the good old days"

For windows XP go to "control panel" then "network connections" then right click on the wireless network connection choose properties, then under advanced there is "sharing of internet connection" there is a wizard that will guide you trough rest of the steps

However Dr bear is right in 1 thing, it is often fragmented and can be quite slow (especially if you surf from the laptop while using the desktop as well)

but it will work, i have used this as recent as 3 weeks ago (my desktop does not have wireless either :) )
